Who I am & my own coaching story

Here’s a little about me, who I am, what I cherish, the roadblocks I encountered, how I overcame them and what led me to change career and lifestyle to become a coach. And above all why I like it so much now!

What’s often praised in our society is power, money, and go high in the hierarchy of a big corporation. Following that path, after I graduated from business school, I joined big companies and worked for 10 years in marketing and sales. I managed to join Google (my dream company) and then to move to NYC (my dream city).

Working at Google NYC was my goal. I worked hard, earned a great salary, had lots of friends, and a pretty fun social life (as NYC can provide)… but I was not fulfilled. What could I be missing?

Having lived in 7 countries across 4 continents, I’m passionate about traveling, discovering new cultures, the environment and above all I’m passionate about people. Besides that, I’m deeply interested in well-being, self-improvement, and yoga. There was a mismatch and I felt a little bit lost. Then I got introduced to coaching and decided to experience it, to understand myself better, and get more clarity on my needs, my natural strengths and how I could be more fulfilled in my life.

I understood what my core values were: Courage, Adventure, Wellness, Creativity, Joy and Love and that I wanted to bring value to people around me.

After deciding to quit my job at Google, I traveled the world for 6 months, immersed myself in several new cultures, hiked in fabulous diverse landscapes and above all took time to deepen what I had discovered during my coaching sessions. And it naturally came: I needed to focus more on self-development in what I do (for me and others) and overall, bring a positive change in society by assisting people in discovering their true-self and daring to chase their dream career and lifestyle.
Happiness happens when you’re fulfilled by what you do in life!

This is what led me to follow the Co-Active Coach Institute training, to become a Coach myself.  CTI is the largest and oldest in-person coach training school in the world and the only program to teach ground-breaking Co-Active® Model of coaching. My personal coach was CTI trained and I got so much value out of it that I knew this was the approach I wanted to master, share and spread. By learning how to assist and empower people to use their natural strengths to fully reach their potential, I grew even more passionate about human beings and self-development.

I now live in Brussels, Belgium, and am very happy as a full-time coach, helping my clients discover their own best-suited path and find the courage and motivation to follow it, persist and thrive. I coach in person (in Bruxelles), or internationally via video conference, or over the phone. Witnessing the sparks in them is a big source of joy for me. And because self-development never ends, I’ll soon follow the CTI leadership program and plan to do my Yoga Teacher Training.
